Aston Villa signs new forward

According to John Percy, Aston Villa could pursue Yannick Eduardo during the January transfer window if they need to recruit a new forward.

According to a journalist with The Telegraph, Villa will need to bring in a new right-back, forward, and maybe another attacker next month. Villa has been playing beyond their league level, and as a result, they are now three points behind Liverpool in second place.

Eduardo might turn into a “surprise target” for Villa in the January transfer window, according to Percy. The highly regarded 17-year-old striker has been doing admirably for the U-19 team.

In 13 games this season with the junior team, he has seven goals and three assists.

They have considerable room to spend, but since Nico Williams, a long-term Emery target, inked a new deal with Athletic Bilbao, their chances of landing the winger are gone. Yannick Eduardo, an attacker for RB Leipzig, would be a surprise target, Percy wrote.

Does Villa need to pursue well-known players?

Under Emery, Villa has excelled this season and have a great chance to finish in the top four this

season. Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal are still the favorites to win the Premier League this year, but Villa is predicted to be competitive and finish in at least fourth place. But it won’t be simple.

Signing players is expected from teams like Tottenham and Newcastle, thus it would be a grave mistake for Villa to ignore strengthening their roster.

Although Eduardo appears to be a gifted player, should Villa try to sign another accomplished striker? Although Ollie Watkins has been outstanding so far this year, they would have had greater depth in the second part of the campaign if they had added another veteran striker.

This season in the Premier League, Watkins has nine goals and eight assists.
