Rumors about transfers: Alzate to Rangers, Mengi to Fulham, and Henderson to Bayern
The £12 million summer transfer from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to the Saudi Pro League for the England international proved to be a hugely contentious move.
Henderson has played for Steven Gerrard’s team in 17 league games since moving to the Middle East. He has four assists but hasn’t scored from the engine room.
The midfielder has continued to be picked by Gareth Southgate for England squads despite playing his football outside of Europe; on November 17, he started the team’s 2-0 victory over Malta in Euro qualifying.
Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, two other German teams, have reportedly been offered the opportunity to capture Henderson during the current transfer window, according to talkSPORT.
According to the source, the Englishman is eager to return to European football this month after finding it difficult to adjust to life in Saudi Arabia.
It is also believed that Henderson, who departed the English premier league barely six months ago, has been made aware of his circumstances by all Premier League teams.
