Aston villa signed a new player

FootballTransfers has discovered that Aston Villa is putting a lot of effort into signing a winger during the January transfer window, with Wilfried Zaha the most recent player to be sought.

We are aware that Villa has lately made moves for two players: Galatasaray winger Zaha and Lazio wideman Felipe Anderson.

After making an initial effort to recruit Zaha for Arsenal back in 2018, while he was in charge at the Emirates Stadium, Unai Emery has grown to be a tremendous fan of the player.

Four years ago, while discussing the prospect of acquiring Zaha, Emery expressed his adoration for the Palace player.”I usually want to sign first the players I know there,” said Emery.

“Zaha demonstrated his skill as a player when we played Crystal Palace.”

This month, getting a deal for Zaha will be challenging. The 31-year-old just moved on a free transfer from Crystal Palace to Galatasaray last summer.

Zaha is understood to be happy in Turkey and not looking to move on this month.

Villa are a club that could make Zaha at least think twice about his future, especially as Villa are second in the Premier League, but it will be a hard deal to do.

Zaha has had an excellent first season at Galatasaray where he has contributed to seven goals in 14 league games. He also scored in the Champions League against Manchester United, his former team.
