JAN 11 PACKAGES CB HARMED DURING PRACTICE Jaire Alexander, the standout cornerback for Green Bay, is said to have suffered an injury at practice on Wednesday, just days before his team’s Sunday Wild Card matchup with the Cowboys.

Alexander reportedly experienced “kind of a freak deal yesterday,” according to Packers coach Matt LaFleur. rolled an ankle after stepping on someone else’s foot, according to Rob Demovsky.

CLEMENT FREE JAN 10 Corey Clement, a former running back for the Cowboys, was released by the Arizona Cardinals, allowing him to provide depth to a playoff club in the postseason.

Pelissero said on X, “According to a source, the Cardinals are cutting veteran RB Corey Clement from the practice squad today, giving him an opportunity to join a playoff team that needs depth.”

This season, Clement played in just three games for the Cards; he is most renowned for his time spent in Philadelphia.

Despite playing primarily on special teams in all 17 of the Cowboys’ games in 2021, Clement had 33 carries for 140 yards and six receptions for 29 yards and one touchdown.
