The Philadelphia Eagles revealed bad news on star wide receiver A.J. Brown on their first day of practice this week as they prepare to play the Tampa Bay in the Wild Card round. Brown injured his knee against the New York Giants in Week 18.
Following the game, the Eagles stated that Brown’s injury was not significant. Before missing the Eagles’ crucial game against the Giants last week, wide receiver DeVonta Smith suffered an ankle injury, but head coach Nick Sirianni stated it wasn’t a concern.
The NFL world saw the Eagles report as a terrible signal of Brown’s status against the Buccaneers Monday night.
This week’s injury list has three offensive players for the Eagles. Following his first practice of the week on Thursday, Smith looks to be in the best shape. During practice, Jalen Hurts, the quarterback, wore a glove over his injured throwing hand. Hurts hadn’t thrown a football since the Giants game until this Thursday.
