Texas coach Rodney Terry strolled down the handshake line and spoke sharply to Knights players after Wednesday night’s 77-71 home defeat to UCF, criticizing their “horns down” motions as being out of class.

Terry remarked at the press conference following the game, “I’m a big believer in you win the right way, you lose the right way… you carry yourself the right way.” “Either before or after the handshake line, you have about six or seven guys putting their horns down. You don’t go through that. That is not what we do.
Terry went on, “When you do those kinds of things, it looks very classless and also like you were just hoping to win.” We don’t act that way because we never enter games expecting to win; instead, we enter them wanting to win. We anticipate victory.
Texas may start improving as a basketball team to stop this from occurring on its home court. With three straight losses to begin Big 12 play, the Longhorns don’t seem to be going in the right direction as late January approaches.
