Marsch was sacked from his role as manager in early February 2023 and despite being linked to a whole host of jobs, he is still yet to find his way back into the dugout.
As he continues to look and wait for the right role, Marsch has been undertaking a lot of punditry work and was on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football earlier this week, where he spoke about his time at Leeds.
Marsch is also a guest on CBS Sports’ ‘Call It What You Want’ Podcast and was asked this week who are some of the worst trainers he has ever coached across his different clubs.
He name dropped three players, one of which was from Leeds – Crysencio Summerville. Marsch handed him his proper breakthrough at Elland Road but was clearly less than impressed with the work he put in at Thorp Arch.
Marsch: “Yeah there is a lot. In New York it was Kemar Lawrence, in Leeds it was Crysencio Summerville. Ademola Lookman maybe in Leipzig.
“So you have to understand your players but you also have to push them and say you have to train right and it’s less to do with earning my respect and more to do with your teammates respect.”
