Sad news for West Bromwich Albion

Plymouth Argyle wing-back Bali Mumba is running the risk of a two-match suspension after picking up his ninth yellow card of the Championship campaign against West Bromwich Albion at Home Park on Tuesday night.

The 22-year-old was booked in the second half of the 3-0 defeat after a foul on West Brom left-back Conor Townsend. Should Mumba be booked for a 10th time this term before the end of Argyle’s 37th league game he will be banned for the next two matches.

Argyle have four more Championship matches to play before that cut-off point, which are away to Middlesbrough on Saturday, at home to Ipswich Town on March 2 and away to Sheffield Wednesday on March 5 and Blackburn Rovers on March 9.
