The striker for Cardiff City, Famara Diedhiou, received terrible abuse on Saturday afternoon when he returned to his old team, Bristol City.
His return to Ashton Gate on Saturday was seen on camera and shared on social media, where a fan took advantage of the occasion to confront the player outside the stadium.
The fan seems to be asking Diedhiou for a quick picture at first, and Diedhiou obliges, but then the apparent Bristol City supporter turns around and says, “F*** off you snake.”
At first, Diedhiou tries to laugh things off, but she quickly becomes uncomfortable and encourages the supporter to show some respect before giving the impression that she is leaving.
But the international from Senegal had the last laugh. After that, Cardiff would triumph 1-0 thanks to a goal from Perry Ng in the second half.
