Hull City loanee set to leave for another club

Bohemians have announced the 2024 season loan signings of Aboubacar Keita of Colorado Rapids and defender Jevon Mills of Hull City.

Former Ireland U19 international Mills will be at Dalymount Park through the end of June, and former U.S. youth international Keita will be there for the entire season.

Manager of Bohemians, Declan Devine, expressed excitement over the new members.

“The centre of defence was the one area where we needed to strengthen,” he said.

“Jevon is a strong young centre-half and we are delighted to get him in. At 6ft 2in, he is a very commanding presence.

“We have been keeping an eye on this guy for a while; even at just 20 years old, he has excellent first-team experience from his time spent on loan at Falkirk, Gateshead, and Solihull Moors. He has a solid background and a strong desire to advance.

Devine said of Keita’s acquisition, “Aboubacar is a really exciting signing for us.”

“Aboubacar truly fits the criteria; the club has been searching for a top left-sided center-back for a number of years.

“He is a player who I believe has the potential to go very far in this game. He has pace, power, experience and bags of ability, and I am over the moon that we have finally got him in.”
