The Toronto Raptors’ expectations for this season were not met.
After the team finally accepted its low ceiling and dealt away Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby before they lost both of them this summer for free, this may have been what many fans and outside observers had hoped for. Despite having the sixth-worst record in the league and attempting to avoid trading a Top-6 protected pick, they also lost enough games to maintain their draft pick.

Chris Boucher has been a part of the 2019 championship team for a long time, but he has only ever developed into a backup center. In order for the team to improve, they must part with his money and rotation place. Despite having a contract for another season, Jalen McDaniels has been a disappointment for the Raptors since they signed him in the summer. Toronto may try to get rid of him. Lastly, Ochai Agbaji, a second-year wing who is still unsatisfactory, might be added to a trade.
And the team’s unrestricted free agents? Is it conceivable that any of them will leave this summer, or will they all return? In no particular sequence, let’s examine five players who will not be returning.
