Super League clubs offered St George Illawarra Dragons forward

Super League clubs have been alerted to the availability of NRL forward Jack de Belin. Rugby League Live can reveal that the 33-year-old has been offered to clubs regarding a potential move to the competition next year.

De Belin, 33, is in the final year of his contract at St George Illawarra Dragons, where he has spent his entire first-grade career since his debut in 2011. He has made 214 NRL appearances for the club, including nine this year. Predominantly a loose forward, he has also played as a prop, two positions that plenty of clubs are currently looking for. It remains to be seen whether any clubs decided to make a play for de Belin.

But he could now be set for a stint in Super League after his representatives told clubs he was open to offers ahead of the 2025 season. It’s one of the early developments in the Australian market, with many representatives still waiting to offer players to Super League on a wider scale.

De Belin has successfully got his rugby league career back on track after missing two years of action due to criminal charges, which he was never found guilty of. He returned to action in 2021 and he has remained a regular in the NRL since.
