Bad news; Injury report

Michael Harris was sidelined by the Atlanta Braves on Friday night due to a hamstring ailment. As anticipated, Harris has been placed on the 10-day injury list. With Harris becoming the second starter to go down, Atlanta’s depth in the outfield will be put to the test going forward.

In response, Atlanta called up Ramón Laureano and placed Spencer Strider on the 60-day injured list. Laureano played a significant amount of time as a starter for Oakland; in 2019, he had his greatest season with 67 RBI, 24 home runs, and a strong.340 on-base percentage.

After that, Laureano had a difficult time playing in Cleveland for the previous two seasons. Following Ronald Acuña Jr.’s injury, Atlanta signed the experienced outfielder to a minor league contract. A depth play that will now be utilized by a club that is constantly struggling.
