Bulldogs land 4-star DL despite USC, Clemson threats

This season, Georgia football welcomes a new member to their impressive roster of commitments. On Sunday night, Christian Garrett, a defensive lineman from Prince Avenue Christian, made his commitment to the Bulldogs known on social media.

According to reports, Garrett’s first commitment date was July 20th. Nevertheless, he has made the decision to finish his recruitment process and commit to the Bulldogs during his formal visit to Athens, Georgia over the weekend.

In addition to being a 4-star prospect and playing defensive linebacker, Garrett is also involved in track and field, demonstrating his versatility as an athlete. His skills should make him a valuable member of the Bulldogs’ front six.

Garrett, who stands 6’3 1/2′′ and weighs 285 pounds, is ranked 129th overall and 15th among defensive linemen in the country. His dedication stems from a program that has won consecutive state titles.
