Since his undergraduate days, Urrow has had multiple serious injuries to contend with. He hasn’t played for the Bengals for a long time now. As was previously mentioned on GH, Burrow stated that as his injuries mount, he has wondered how long he can continue playing football:

After the required minicamp practice, Burrow remarked, “When the injuries start to pile up, your football mortality kind of comes into the back of your mind.” “I have had to overcome that thought and experience,” the speaker said.
This year, Burrow will not be retiring. He expressed his resolve to fight his way back to the top of the quarterbacking ranks. Burrow did, however, openly admit that he had considered retiring.
Reactions to Burrow’s statement from fans were divided. Some people don’t think he will retire anytime soon, while others don’t want to accept that he will. Others would perceive him like Andrew Luck, accepting his guaranteed money and leaving early.
