In the summer transfer window, Nottingham Forest made inquiries about Juventus striker Moise Kean, but the Italian finally chose to stay in Turin.
After two seasons on loan at the Turin club, Kean, 23, made a permanent move from Everton to Juventus this summer.
The obligation to buy clause in Kean’s agreement was triggered by Massimiliano Allegri’s team, costing them €30 million.
Even though the attacker’s temporary move to Juventus just became permanent this summer, other teams, including Nottingham Forest, were interested in him.
Additionally, the Tricky Trees reportedly enquired about Kean during the summer transfer season, according to the Italian website Calciomercato.com.
However, a transfer to Nottingham Forest did not materialise, and the Premier League team moved its focus elsewhere. It is unknown, though, whether Steve Cooper’s team planned to sign the Italian star on a long-term basis.
On the final day, Nottingham Forest did get Divock Origi on a season-long loan from AC Milan.
However, it is unclear if they would renew their interest in Kean in January given that the Italian star has had difficulty finding consistent playing time for Juventus this year.

Scarpa is on loan to Olympiacos until the summer of 2026 while still under contract to Nottingham Forest.
