There was plenty of debate over who scored the only goal of the game at Ibrox and the pair have had their say
Ben Davies and Abdallah Sima have delivered their verdict on who got the final touch to force the ball over the line for Rangers’ goal tonight.
The Light Blues got their Europa League group campaign off to an ideal start by beating Real Betis at home by a slender one goal advantage. The strike itself was scrappy and there was a bit of debate over who it should be credited to as the forward and centre back were both in the mix.

Who better to ask to clear the situation up than the two men involved?
TNT Sports did that and Davies said: “Yeah, Abda I think. Let the striker have it. “I’m not sure to be honest, I’ll have to see it back but let the striker have that and I’ll take the clean sheet tonight.”
Asked if it felt like he got the final touch, Sima added: “Yeah. Ben kicked my foot so I think I scored the goal.
“But the most important thing is to win the game. Him or me, it doesn’t matter.”
