Aston Villa player has completely transformed

As Moussa Diaby continues to dominate this season for Aston Villa, Alan Shearer has been extremely impressed.

Shearer discussed Aston Villa’s historic weekend on The Rest Is Football Podcast.

With an exciting Brighton team visiting Villa Park, there was a lot riding on the Saturday morning kickoff.

Early on, it was obvious that Unai Emery had outthought his managerial rival in this situation.

Brighton’s center-backs were frequently isolated by Moussa Diaby and Ollie Watkins, who couldn’t handle their pace.

The 24-year-old winger bravely supported the England international as he completed his second hat-trick of the game.

Alan Shearer acknowledged Moussa Diaby’s impact on Unai Emery’s Aston Villa team since his arrival in the summer.

In his first seven games, he has already contributed to five goals, and he isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.

Shearer praises Diaby’s game-changing signing for Villa.

Shearer commented on Aston Villa’s stunning 6-1 triumph, saying: “I do think that [Moussa] Diaby has been a game changer for them because of his pace and because of how they can sit back and suck up a little bit of pressure.

But once they recover possession of the ball thanks to his speed and ability to close gaps, I believe he has changed the game for them.

And he’s definitely making Ollie Watkins a better player, as shown by the fact that he scored a hat-trick in front of the England manager while the team pounded Brighton’s two young midfielders, [Billy] Gilmour and [Jack] Hinshelwood.

Aston Villa will be aware of their excellent chance to end this campaign with a European championship.

The goal of this campaign must be to win the Europa Conference League because Unai Emery has a stellar reputation in continental events.

At the start of the campaign, he’ll probably change up his lineup, but players like Diaby and Watkins will be crucial in the knockout rounds.

Diaby might be the pivotal player for Villa who pushes them over the top in both Premier League and European games, as Shearer has predicted.

He is swiftly emerging as one of the summer’s outstanding additions in England’s top division.
