English juggernauts might rush to sign a Wolves player to replace their $150 million star.

If Mo Salah leaves Anfield, Liverpool may reportedly make a move for Pedro Neto at Wolves in the upcoming transfer window.

Following his outstanding start to 2023–24, Neto has generated a lot of conversation.

In Wolves’ first seven Premier League games, the Portuguese wide player has five assists and one goal.

He has been Wanderers’ most outstanding player.

Given his injury issues over the previous few years, it has been wonderful to witness.

However, Wolves supporters are aware that Neto’s performance will lead to rumours of a transfer.

And yesterday, a pretty audacious claim regarding the 23-year-old was made.

Liverpool might acquire Pedro Neto as long as Mo Salah remains a transfer target.
If Salah leaves the Reds next year, Liverpool might rush to sign Neto, claims Football Transfers.

Of fact, Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad started to pursue the Egyptian near the end of the last transfer window.

They purportedly witnessed a massive £150 million bid being turned down.

Salah ultimately decided to stay put, but there is a chance that they or other Saudi clubs would make another approach.

Salah’s current deal with Liverpool is out in the summer of 2025.

Liverpool might therefore not want to permit the player to enter his final year and be sold.

They appear to be considering Neto as a potential successor in the event that he is sold.

Aston Villa, Atletico Madrid, and Arsenal are reportedly rumoured to be interested in Neto.

A concern is the alleged Liverpool interest in Neto.
In the upcoming months, we’ll check to see if any other reports indicate Liverpool is interested in Neto.

But Wolves would have a problem if the Reds were really interested.

They are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and Neto might be persuaded to leave if they return to the Champions League the following year.

Salah’s departure would probably allow Neto to start every game.

In the summer of 2020, Diogo Jota moved to Liverpool for a reported £45 million, giving Wolves fans previous experience with the club doing business with Liverpool.

Fans would like to believe that Neto wouldn’t go the same route as his former buddy. However, they might come knocking with a large sum of money from a Salah sale.
