Unai Emery has confirmed Boubacar Kamara, Moussa Diaby and Jacob Ramsey will all miss Aston Villa’s Europa Conference League clash with Zrinjski Mostar through injury.

Kamara and Diaby were replaced late on in Villa’s 6-1 thrashing of Brighton, but Emery said that he didn’t expect either player to be missing for a period of time. Ramsey will also miss Thursday’s clash after feeling pain after full-time on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Leon Bailey returned to training on Wednesday and will face a late fitness test ahead of tomorrow’s match. Emery’s side are looking to get off the mark in Group E after losing their opening group stage match against Legia Warsaw in the Polish capital last month. Thursday’s opponents Zrinjski also sprung a surprise by beating AZ Alkmaar at home 4-3, despite being three goals down at half-time.

Emery provided an update on his squad’s team news ahead of Thursday’s match. “They didn’t train after our match on Saturday, Boubacar and Diaby,” he remarked.
