Nottingham Forest’s latest news as Steve Cooper’s Reds prepare to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Nottingham Forest will have to make a number of late fitness decisions as they prepare for their trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
This Saturday, the Reds travel to Selhurst Park for their final Premier League match before the international break. As he prepares to pick his starting lineup, head coach Steve Cooper is concerned about many injuries.
Due to the groyne injury that took him out during the defeat at Manchester City, he has ruled out full-back Nuno Tavares until after the fortnight’s break. Cooper was evasive, though, on whether Nicolas Dominguez, who came off in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford, Ryan Yates, and Ola Aina would be available in London.

“It’s still ongoing,” he stated of the injury. “Nico left the Brentford game with a hamstring injury, and Yatesy has been nursing a nagging hamstring for a few weeks now, which has prevented him from playing.”
“We’ll see what happens over the weekend.” Whatever we decide in terms of availability, we’ll be as prepared as we can be and commit to the game as much as we can.
“Danilo is a bit more long-term, and it will be a while before he returns to the group.” He’s out on the grass, but he’s still in the midst of his rehabilitation.
“I doubt we’ll see Nuno before the international break.” We’ll see how Ola goes.”
Aina missed the Bees game due to a muscular issue. Danilo, the midfielder, left the 1-0 win over Chelsea at the start of last month with a hamstring injury and has not played since.
