Tigers big blow as player will be out till december

Mitchell Moses, the Eels’ star halfback, will miss their Round 11 match against the Raiders after showing category one symptoms on Sunday after suffering a head injury.

In the 72nd minute, Moses attempted a tackle and struck a Titans player in the hip with his head.

Before receiving assistance from a trainer, he remained down and eventually fled the pitch.

Fox League’s Lara Pitt stated that the head injury has been classified as a category one, which results in an automatic 11-day suspension from competition.

BIG BATEMAN BLOW OF THE TIGER

Minutes before the start of their match against the Dragons on Sunday, the Wests Tigers suffered a big setback when star second-rower John Bateman was ruled out.

Even after the final team was announced one hour before the game, Bateman was still included in the starting lineup.

But just before the squad left, it was announced on Fox League’s coverage that Bateman had been injured during the warm-up and had been ruled out.

Alex Seyfarth was added to the bench while Asu Keapao was switched to the starting side.

According to Lara Pitt of the Fox League, Bateman felt a twitch in his hamstring during Saturday’s captain’s run but was still intending to play despite it.

The club thinks it’s not a big issue.

RABBITOHS LOSE STARS DUE TO STORM

Nelson Asofa-Solomona, a prop for the Storm, will be a concern after leaving the game against the Rabbitohs with a rib injury.

Late in the game, Souths captain Cameron Murray departed the field for an HIA after colliding with Justin Olam and bleeding from the head.

FLYER OF WARRIORS SETBACK

After a knee collision with Panthers great Stephen Crichton on Saturday, Warriors winger Edward Kosi’s afternoon was cut short.

Despite making a bone-jarring tackle on Crichton, Kosi lost the battle. He struggled the rest of the first half and left the game without making a comeback.

He sat on the bench with ice on his knee for the remainder of the game.

The Dolphins suffered a setback during their matchup with the Sharks when Euan Aitken apparently suffered a hamstring injury and did not return to the pitch after halftime.

NERVOUS WAIT ON STAR BY BRONCOS

Due to an HIA, second-rower Kurt Capewell was unable to finish the game against Manly for the Broncos, and he may be out for their Round 11 matchup with the Storm.

Due to the 15-minute HIA procedure, Capewell was removed off the field in the 76th minute and hence was unable to continue the game.

According to reports, he showed category 2 symptoms. He may have a chance to play the following week if a neurologist approved by the NRL grants him permission.
