SHOCKING NEWS: what a life or dead injury below….

Week 10 saw Montez Sweat go out for the Washington Football Team due to a broken jaw. They sustained yet another significant injury to a defensive end on Sunday.

After what appeared to be a normal play close to the Washington end zone, Chase Young was hurt. While left tackle Donovan Smith was blocking him, he attempted to apply pressure to Tom Brady.

Young stumbled to the ground as he was barely able to avoid Smith. Young was writhing in pain after the play as his knee bowed awkwardly and without any impact.

Young appeared to have difficulty leaving the field during the play. In order to get him into the locker room, Washington asked for the cart.

But Young resisted using the cart. He decided to enter the locker room carefully instead, assisted by three Washington staff members.

Why Young chose not to use the cart is unknown. He was promptly declared out of the game with a knee injury, and according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, he may have torn his ACL, ending his season.
Long-term, that will be detrimental to Washington’s defense. Young only recorded 1.5 sacks during the season, but he exerted a lot of pressure on the quarterbacks of the opposition.

Since Young and Sweat will be unavailable against the Buccaneers in the near future, Washington will have to rely largely on its depth at defensive end to pressure Tom Brady. The most of the snaps will probably be played by Casey Toohill and James Smith-Williams, with Bunmi Rotimi and Shaka Toney rotating in to fill them.
