SHOCKING NEWS: what a shocking injury from Aston villa hero…..

Alan Hutton, a former fullback for Aston Villa, is a wonderful addition to our exclusive columnist lineup. He will provide his thoughts on the most important Villa Park talking points each week.

According to Alan Hutton, it’s a “huge blow” for Aston Villa that Jacob Ramsey will once again be sidelined due to a foot injury.

The Athletic reported on October 6 that Ramsey, 22, has suffered a metatarsal injury once more after missing 10 weeks due to a broken left foot he sustained while playing for England’s Under-21 team in July.

It is believed that he worsened that injury during the 6-1 victory over Brighton on September 30, but a specific length of his absence has not yet been determined.

However, according to injury specialist Dr. Rajbal Brar, Ramsey will probably resume training in about five weeks.

Hutton acknowledges that the young attacker, who missed preseason with Aston Villa and had to practice by himself to catch up with the rest of the team, has suffered yet another setback.

Ramsey played a lot of football last season, and then he traveled with the England Under-21s during the off-season, when you really simply need to rest and heal, Hutton said in a statement to Villa News regarding the most recent setback.

“Unfortunately, today, you can’t do it without risking damage. And I understand that since he missed preseason, he had to complete a smaller version of preseason with the help of the fitness staff.

He did well to recover, but now that he has a new injury, you can’t help but feel for him.

He is a tremendous talent and is still young enough to have a lot more years ahead of him.

“I understand that you want nothing more than to play on the grass again, but you need to take care of this right away to avoid problems in the future.

“He’ll be OK if he does it correctly this time. However, it comes as a major blow.

After being introduced into the game in the 57th minute as a substitute, Ramsey scored in that victory over Brighton.

In other Aston Villa news, Louie Barry would have to fight for his position at Villa Park given the possibility that his most recent contract will end early.
