Due to back rower Ben Ridge’s injury, the Gold Coast Titans were forced to make another roster change for Monday night’s NRL game.

Due to back rower Ben Ridge’s injury, the Gold Coast Titans were forced to make another roster change for their NRL encounter against South Sydney on Monday night.

Since Daniel Mortimer and Maurice Blair are the new halves pairing, Gold Coast has already lost forwards Nate Myles and Greg Bird (Origin).

After working out with the Titans rehabilitation squad, coach John Cartwright said that Ridge’s shoulder injury was not strong enough to withstand a formidable Rabbitohs pack.

Cartwright’s good news is that halfback Albert Kelly, who is expected to start on the bench, recovered from a leg injury with solid training.

In order to celebrate forward Mark Minichiello’s 250th game and prevent a club record seventh straight loss, Gold Coast is ready for a pivotal encounter.
