EX-MIDDLESBROUGH managers Chris Wilder and Neil Warnock are both short odds to take over at Rotherham United following the sacking of Matt Taylor earlier this week.Wilder, who has been out of work since leaving Boro in October last year, is the 4/1 second favourite, while Neil Warnock, who led Rotherham to Championship survival during a previous spell in charge, is the 8/1 third favourite.
Stevenage manager Steve Evans is the current favorite, having led the Millers to consecutive promotions from League Two to the Championship in 2013 and 2014. He’s said to be on Rotherham’s radar, but he’s not the only one.

Leam Richardson, Garry Rowett, John Eustace and Nathan Jones are all priced at 11/1 and shorter with the bookies. Garry Monk, another ex-Boro boss, is 20/1.
Warnock has been unsurprisingly linked with the role since Taylor’s sacking on Monday. The 74-year-old made it clear he was in the market for another job and had no intentions of retiring after leaving Huddersfield Town in September.
Wilder, meanwhile, was in the running for the Reading job in the summer but wisely opted against taking that role. He’s since been heavily linked with a return to Sheffield United, but Paul Heckingbottom remains boss of the Blades.
Rotherham sacked Taylor on the back of Rotherham’s 5-0 defeat at Watford on Saturday which left the Millers 22nd in the Championship table and four points adrift of safety.
