Inter Milan might make a January signing due to former Juventus veteran’s condition.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri aren’t going to rush into making a signing, but would seriously consider it depending on the Colombian’s situation.

For most of the first part of the season, Cuadrado’s fitness has been a problem for Inter.

The 35-year-old had been available for the first three matches of the campaign. He came off the bench in all three.

But ever since then, Cuadrado’s availability has been sporadic.

The problem has been tendon problem.

This has meant that even though Cuadrado has not been carrying a serious injury, there has been a lot of uncertainty regarding when he will actually be able to return to training and then to the pitch.

Cuadrado had made a half-hour substitute appearance against Bologna before the October break.

But the Colombian has been out for every one of Inter’s matches between the October and November breaks.

And there’s no guarantee that Cuadrado will be available after the November break.,

Inter Could Make A January Signing If Juan Cuadrado Fitness Doesn’t Improve

he Nerazzurri are patiently waiting for Cuadrado to get back to full fitness. The former Juventus and Chelsea veteran has another month and a half in which to do so.

However, the club’s stance could change if Cuadrado keeps missing matches.

The January window opens in right around six weeks.

And if Cuadrado is not to show that he can be reliable before that point, Inter may target a right-wingback to reinforce the squad.

Club Brugge’s Tajon Buchanan would be one of the players on the Nerazzurri’s radar. Though only if the opportunity to sign the Canadian international arises
