David Moyes and Tim Steidten are at loggerheads regarding West Ham United’s James Ward-Prowse.
According to The Times journalist Duncan Castles – someone who has very close connections to David Moyes, the West Ham boss and Tim Steidten are not on the same page when it comes to the summer transfer window pursuit of James Ward-Prowse.

The East London outfit have allegedly made numerous bids for the 28-year-old Southampton captain already this summer – most recently a £30 million offer that got knocked back by the Saints.
Hammers boss Moyes allegedly wants to go back in for the 11-capped England international.
However, Steidten has allegedly pulled rank…
David Moyes is shocked that Tim Steidten has stopped West Ham from signing £100k-a-week Englishman
It seems as though Moyes and Steidten are pulling in completely different directions regarding their respective transfer strategies this summer.
According to Duncan Castles, the German has blocked the Scot’s move to sign Ward-Prowse from Southampton this summer, and the West Ham boss is ‘bemused’ to say the least:
I do get where Moyes is coming from. Don’t get me wrong, I prefer Steidten’s approach – it’s a more self sufficient, sustainable way to do business.
However, Moyes led us to our first trophy in 43 years last season – something that no other West Ham boss managed to do during my lifetime.
The West Ham owners need to back him or sack him. This middle of the road approach is not getting us anywhere, and is in fact holding us back.
Ward-Prowse, who earns £100k-a-week according to Spotrac, is clearly a key transfer target for the Hammers boss this summer.
However, if Steidten prevent Moyes from signing the Southampton man, the Scot will surely realise that his role at the London Stadium is untenable.
