Leeds United reinforcements after a mass exodus

A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Sunday, August 6.

Leeds to step up pursuit of Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Nathaniel Phillips

Football Insider claims Leeds United will step up their pursuit of Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Nathaniel Phillips after the signing of Sam Byram. Daniel Farke’s side tied down Charlie Cresswell to a long-term deal but are still in need of defensive reinforcements after a mass exodus this summer.

Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Rasmus Kristensen and Max Wober have all left the club on loan. Manchester City defender Taylor Harwood Bellis has a reported asking price of £15million, while Phillips was linked with a £10million move to Elland Road when the window first opened.

The report claims a source told them a centre-back remains a huge priority for the Leeds United recruitment staff.

Burnley join race to sign Crysencio Summerville

The Mirror claims Premier League new boys Burnley have joined the list of clubs keen on signing Crysencio Summerville. The Leeds United winger has attracted attention from a number of top flight clubs, with Crystal Palace also said to be keen on the Dutch youth international.

The report claims Vincent Kompany’s side have grown frustrated by their pursuit of Jack Clark and are willing to move on to new targets. Summerville is one of a number of Leeds United players still being linked with a departure.

Jack Harrison, Wilfried Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra have all been touted with moves away from Elland Road while interest was also rife in Cody Drameh earlier this summer.
