To see Jamie Vardy (36) still being trusted and possibly wearing the captains armbind in the first game of the season, could be the signal needed to push the correct buttons for this season.
Jamie did not play in the games against Liverpool and Port FC, but was lively when playing OH Leuven and hopefully he will start up front as the front man tomorrow.
Stephy Mavididi must be in the starting line-up and the third position up front looks to be filled by a defender or a midfielder with both Dennis Praet and Timothy Castagne able to play wide on the left.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka er not really flank men, with Marc Albrighton, Kasey McAteer and Marcal-Madivadua being an option as well.
The problem at present is that you probably have two players in Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho who both should be flying at Championship level, but in some way looks to struggle to get into the team with Jamie Vardy and Stephy Madivadua being those two that looks the ideal men to work up front, but we have to wait and see how Enzo Maresca will build up his team.
There are still a chance to a move in, but then one needs to be shipped out. Kelechi Iheanacho looks the obvious, but do not be surprised if Kasey McAteer and Marcal Madivadua are send out on loan, if other teams comes in for them. They are still a bit away from a level of consistancy you need to be a steady player at this level.
FORWARDS: Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho, Patson Daka, Kasey McAteer, Marcal-Madivadua, Stephy Mavididi Marc Albrighton
