Latest Stoke City news from StokeonTrentLive as the Potters confirm the departure of Jacob Brown to Luton Town
Stoke City have sold Jacob Brown to Luton Town for an undisclosed fee.
The Potters confirmed the 25-year-old forward’s departure from the bet365 Stadium for the Premier League on Thursday.“
Luton made a bid that we believe is in the club’s best interests to accept, and we now wish Jacob all the best with his new team and for the remainder of the season,” said Stoke’s technical director Ricky Martin.
“Jacob’s three years at the club have clearly had a positive impact on his career, developing him into a potential Premier League player, who has earned the opportunity to test himself in the top flight.
“Already, during the current summer, we have been able to bring a number of exciting attacking players to the club. Whilst the transfer window remains open, we will continue to look to further strengthen our squad.”
Brown signed for Stoke in September 2020 and netted 30 goals in 141 appearances.
Having made his international debut in November 2021, Brown has been capped on six occasions by Scotland.
