Liverpool have just now reactivated talks to sign 21-year-old midfielder

Liverpool have reportedly reactivated talks to sign Ryan Gravenberch, with the Bayern Munich midfielder keen on a move to Anfield.

According to journalist Santi Aouna, the Reds are back in discussions with the Bundesliga giants over the 21-year-old having recently cooled their interest in Gravenberch to pursue Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.

As we know, though, both players have signed for Chelsea after Liverpool messed up horribly in the two pursuits for the duo, with Gravenberch now back on the Anfield side’s radar.

With just two weeks of the transfer window left to go, Gravenberch could be an incredible signing for Liverpool given his age, potential and midfield versatility.

However, with Manchester United also interested in the youngster, Liverpool need to ensure they are the side who win the race for the former Ajax wonderkid, who could be exactly what Jurgen Klopp is looking for.

Gravenberch has been linked with Liverpool for most of the window, and with the midfielder now back in talks with the Reds, there’s a chance a move could soon be confirmed.

Time is of the essence for Liverpool, though, and every hour and day will count if the Anfield side are to bring the 21-year-old prospect to the Premier League this summer.

With Gravenberch open the move, the process could be quicker than many expect, with Liverpool needing to pull every trick they can to ensure the midfielder is signed as soon as possible.
