AWAY DAY GUIDE | QPR

All you need to know ahead of Hoops trip

Town take on Gareth Ainsworth’s QPR tomorrow, with 3,000 of the Blue Army making the journey to Loftus Road for the Blues’ first fixture against the London outfit since Boxing Day of 2018.

Kieran McKenna’s side are set to be backed by another sold-out away end, with the Championship clash live on TownTV for international subscribers and international fans who purchase a match pass. Ian Westlake will be joining Glenn Wheeler on co-commentary duty, with a live pre-match and post-match show taking place in the TownTV studio at Portman Road.

Supporters making the journey to the Shepherd’s Bush area of London on the train should note that no planned rail strikes are expected to delay journeys. The easiest route to take, upon arrival at Liverpool Steet or Stratford, is to take the Central Line tube to either White City or Shepherd’s Bush.

The Club has been informed that the MET Police advised away pub is the Sindercombe Social, which is a 15 minute walk from Loftus Road, with Belushi’s, which is located nearby, also a strong favourite among away supporters. It is important to note that many of the pubs located closer to the ground are not open to away supporters.

Supporters collecting tickets at the away ground are required to head to the ticket collections kiosk on Loftus Road. It is advisable to get here early, as this is a mixed collections area, and queues are likely.

The Club’s Supporter Liaison Officer, Liz Edwards, has supplied the following Away Day Guide, which goes into great detail to ensure supporters can enjoy the away day to the full.
