Leicester City have cooled their interest in Leeds United target Joel Piroe, according to Wales Online, meaning the Whites will likely not have to battle the Foxes for him.
Swansea forward Piroe is in demand in the ongoing window, with a host of clubs lining up for his signature, but it is Leeds who are now pushing the hardest for him.https://fulltimesport.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/cardiff-city-stadium-image-11682-main-big-01092022132226.jpg
Leicester, who are determined to get back into the Premier League under the guidance of Enzo Maresca, are admirers of the goal-getter and have been linked with him.
The Foxes are keen on bringing in a striker this summer and 24-year-old Piroe, who scored 19 times for the Swans last season, is high on their list.
Piroe has entered the final year of his contract and Swansea are demanding a high transfer fee to part ways with the striker.
Now it has been claimed that Leicester have cooled their interest in the Dutchman and might move on to other targets.
The Foxes look unlikely to battle Leeds for Piroe’s signature.
Southampton boss Russell Martin has experience working with Piroe from his time as Swansea manager and has been linked with wanting him.
