Championship leaders Ipswich Town are to be backed strongly when they visit Reading in the Carabao Cup, having received additional tickets.
The Tractor Boys have made an impressive start to life back in the second tier, currently leading the way having only won promotion from League One last season.
Reading’s emphatic 4-0 win over Millwall earlier in the month has set up a home tie with Kieran McKenna’s men, set for August 28.
Cup fever has not hit supporters for this second-round tie though, with only the Sir John Madejski Stand open for home fans.
Ipswich sold their initial allocation of over 1,000 in just days and have been granted an additional 941 tickets in the South Stand.
