Leeds and Swansea are considering moves for Stoke City defender Josh Tymon before the close of the transfer window, TEAMtalk understands.
The Championship pair are both in the market for an attacking full-back who can slot into the left side of their defence and Tymon is on their list of targets.
Leeds started the season with Leo Hjelde at left-back with Junior Firpo currently sidelined through injury, though summer signing Sam Byram – traditionally a right-back -has slotted in there in recent matches.
Swansea, meanwhile, are keen to replace Ryan Manning following his departure to Southampton.
Tymon, 24, has yet to start in the Championship so far for Stoke this season with summer signing Enda Stevens ahead of him in Alex Neil’s plans at the bet 365 Stadium.
Stoke signed Tymon from Hull City when he was just 18 and after a couple of loans at MK Dons and in Portugal with Famalicao he has established himself as an important member of their team since.
Tymon still has two years to run on his current deal and it remains to be seen if Stoke would consider letting the former England U20 international leave to join a Championship rival.
The Whites have so far recruited four players with Karl Darlow, Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon joining Byram at Elland Road.
But Daniel Farke’s squad has been beset by departures from 12 players jumping ship since relegation from the Premier League.
