‘SHUT UP, JOE,’ NO NEED FOR HARTACHE, INSIST CELTS….

After 737 appearances for clubs and his country, the 36-year-old custodian, who has played for England 75 times, was dismissed for the first time in his career.

Hart was sent out of the game by referee John Beaton just before the half-hour mark following an unintentional mid-air contact with opponent Mo Sangare. Both the custodian and the striker went for a long, high ball without hesitation.

Although it looked that the referee had given the Celt a straight red card for denying his opponent a clean chance to score, it might be claimed that Liam Scales was present to contest the decision.

Sangare’s boot was allegedly dangerously high as he sought to make contact with the ball.

Beaton, however, acted quickly after the draw to reduce the champions to 10 players, replacing Hart with Scott Bain, who replaced James Forrest.

The points were headed back to Parkhead when Matt O’Riley scored the second just after the break as the visitors took the lead thanks to a Reo Hatate penalty kick at the time the seasoned custodian was sent off.

With a whizzbang left-foot strike that soared high into the Livi net in stoppage time, Daizen Maeda ensured it.

What a collective performance @CelticFC, Hart wrote on Instagram. Sorry about the red card, but team and support proved who they are. superior mentality.

Joe is a top-tier professional, and I believe we all know that, said teammate Alistair Johnston.

“I

He’s a terrific guy and will take criticism well. We really talked about it as defenders, but the Astroturf just kicked the ball back and caught him off guard.

In an interview with the Scottish Sun, the Canadian World Cup defender continued, “We’ve got to be aware that it’s not necessarily going to skip onward, it’s going to perhaps check back.

We allowed their full-back too much time to pass the ball behind us, placing Joe in a vulnerable position.

Among their Hoops coworkers, Greg Taylor, Gustaf Lagerbiekle, and Liel Abada concurred with Johnston.

In Hart’s place, Scott Bain will continue to fill in for Saturday’s trip to Fir Park for the game against Motherwell.
