Wolves injury news: the fast forward striker is expected to recover from a long-term knee ailment.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have released their squad for their Premier League match against Luton Town.

Wolves manager Gary O’Neil has announced that he has no fresh injuries for Saturday’s encounter at Luton Town, where his team is looking for its second win of the season.

Rayan Ait-Nouri was pulled out at halftime of last weekend’s 3-1 home defeat to Liverpool due to a muscular ailment, but he is expected to be available for the encounter at Kenilworth Road, allowing O’Neil the option of fielding an unchanged lineup. Wolves played well in the first half against Liverpool before wilting after the interval, when Jurgen Klopp was able to make a considerably greater impact with his replacements than O’Neil.

Wolves’ lone injured player is central midfielder Joe Hodge, who suffered a hamstring injury in the 5-0 Carabao Cup win over Blackpool at home three weeks ago. Hodge, on the other hand, could be available for Wolves’ game against Ipswich in the third round of the FA Cup on Tuesday.

In response to a question concerning injuries before of the Luton game, O’Neil stated, “Everyone is good, which is obviously important.” The training structure has been altered. I’m not sure how long I’ve been here now, maybe six weeks, and training has altered a little, so you can pick up some injuries, niggles, and stuff during that transition period. We haven’t yet, thank goodness. So the guys are in a good situation. Hodgey will be in and around it again. He has been training for a few days, which is a good sign. The remainder of the team appears to be in good shape.”

O’Neil appears to be sticking with a 4-3-3 formation, although he does have individuals that might break into the starting lineup. Keeper Dan Bentley, right back Matt Doherty, new centre half Santiago Bueno, and striker Sasa Kalajdzic are all choices, but an unchanged lineup appears to be more likely.

That would mean Jose Sa retaining his starting spot behind a defence of Nelson Semedo, Craig Dawson, Max Kilman, and Rayan Ait-Nouri. Against Liverpool, Joao Gomes, Mario Lemina, and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde comprised the midfield three, with Hwang Hee Chan, Matheus Cunha, and Pedro Neto as the front three.
