Celtic must get ‘amazing’ after Reo Hatate. Next week, the 22-year-old will sign a new deal.
Celtic must sign a new deal for the ‘wonderful’ 22-year-old after Reo Hatate.
Hatate’s form, on the other hand, has plummeted this season. When compared to his usual high standards, the 25-year-old has obviously been distracted by the speculation, so it will be a relief to all parties when his contract is officially signed.
Celtic must now extend the contract of Matt O’Riley.
At this point in the season, O’Riley is Celtic’s best player. Without a doubt. He’s been excellent for Brendan Rodgers, and the Celtic manager must be pleading with the board to straighten out the 22-year-old’s contract.
TBR Celtic revealed yesterday that O’Riley is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after properties on the international stage. Both Denmark and Norway are interested in signing the midfielder, and it appears that when the time comes, O’Riley will have his pick of the two.
O’Riley has made 80 appearances for Celtic since joining for £1.5m, scoring 12 goals and assisting 18 times. The youngster was instrumental in Celtic’s 1-0 win at Ibrox this season and has been a standout in Brendan Rodgers’ side.
The English Championship team will need to significantly increase their price if they want to entice Celtic to part with O’Riley, who is now valued at more than £10 million. Thankfully, the club is not in the mood to lose one of their top players this season.
O’Riley’s contract must be a priority moving ahead, and I’m sure Celtic are working hard to address this as soon as possible.
