INJURY UPDATE:Newcastle United KEY MAN HAVE BEEN RUIED OUT FOR ONE MOUTH DUE TO AN INJRY……

Newcastle United’s injury list has been updated following the latest Bruno Guimaraes blow against Manchester United.
Newcastle United experienced another injury setback in their Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester United at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Newcastle were defeated 2-0 by Manchester United, extending their long quest for a major prize. And Eddie Howe’s team suffered a further setback when midfielder Bruno Guimaraes was hurt late in the game.

The Brazilian returned from a three-match suspension in the heart of Newcastle’s midfield but was unable to lead his side to victory as Manchester United won thanks to first-half goals from Casemiro and an own goal by Sven Botman.

Eddie Howe’s comments on Bruno Guimaraes’ injury

Guimaraes landed awkwardly on his ankle in the second half while challenging for a pass. He continued to play for a short time until being pulled.

The 25-year-old also suffered an ankle injury against Fulham last month but returned to duty the following game against Crystal Palace.

“Bruno twisted his ankle,” Howe stated after the game. I believe he did something similar not long ago in a match, but I can’t recall the game.

“He was in some discomfort. We don’t think it’s serious right now, but we’ll see.”
