Aston Villa are set to terminate their clothing arrangement with Castore due to soaking-wet jerseys.

Aston Villa are seeking for a means to terminate their’multi-year’ contract with Castore, since the club is dissatisfied with the new season’s uniform, which clings to perspiration and creates a ‘wet look’.

The ‘wet look’ home uniform that has plagued Aston Villa’s start to the season has caused the club’s kit deal with Castore to expire early.

Villa players are upset with the club’s ‘wet look’ shirts, which they claim weigh them down when they play. Unai Emery is aware of the problem, and Villa are currently seeking for a way out of their contract.

The Telegraph reports that Villa have already begun talks to find a ‘amicable way’ out of their’multi-year’ contract. The article adds, though, that the negotiations are ‘not necessarily’ a direct result of this season’s kit.

Castore broke their silence on the outfit, which clings to perspiration and causes wetness, pledging to “address this issue as soon as possible to meet the standards we expect.”

In the long run, Castore hopes to fix the shirts for the rest of the campaign. In addition, they are seeking for a quick resolution for the approaching weekend.
