delivers an injury update as the Leicester City defender’s surgery is confirmed.

The defender suffered a knee injury against stol CBriity last weekend and faces a 12- to 16-week absence, according to the most recent Leicester City news.

Callum Doyle, a defender for Leicester City, has acknowledged having surgery to repair a knee issue.

The on-loan Mitan Cy player was substituted at halftime of last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Brl Citistoy. Later, he was seen getting up from the ground while using crutches and wearing a brace on one knee.

Enzo Maresca, the manager of City, called the injury ‘not good’ and predicted that the 19-year-old will be sidelined for a “long time” before this week’s game against Liverpool. Since then, the Italian has provided a new report that confirms the duration of Doyle’s absence.

Maresca announced that Doyle would be out for 12 to 16 weeks during his press conference prior to the Championship game against Blackburn. The defender will remain with City during his recuperation rather than going back to his original club Man City.

“It will last between 12 and 16 weeks,” Maresca stated. “That he is the sole left-footed player… We’ve had bad luck.

We had several wingers, including Wilfred, Cesare, Kiernan, Yunus, Jamie, Kele, Abdul, Macca, Stephy, and Marc, but he was the only one in that position, therefore we were unfortunate. We’ll work to come up with a solution. JJ performed admirably against Liverpool and Bristol City. He might provide a solution.

Doyle has updated his personal social media accounts. He announced that he had surgery by posting on his Instagram stories.

After getting surgery, he uploaded a photo of himself giving the thumbs up. He stated in his letter, “Glad to say my operation went well, road to recovery now.”

Since joining City on loan in the summer, Doyle has been a crucial member of the team. Prior to becoming hurt, he had started each and every game under Maresca this season in every competition.

During the most recent international break, the teenager also scored his first goal for England U21. He participated in the entire game in the 3-0 victory over Luxembourg and netted the game’s second goal.
