Former Sheffield Wednesday forward George Hirst might play again against his old team, according to Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna, who claims that the son of Owls icon David has allayed his injury concerns.
Hirst, who departed Wednesday five years ago amid some controversy due to a disagreement over a new deal, was substituted early in Town’s 3-2 victory over Cardiff right before the break.

Palace has McKenna on their list, and they are monitoring his performance at Ipswich.
An approach for a manager who has done wonders for the team since taking over would not likely be welcomed by Ipswich.
The team led by McKenna is currently in second place in the Championship standings after scoring 18 goals in their first nine league games.
