Important Celtic player recovers Injury that was inflicted by….

Cameron Carter-Vickers, a star for the USMNT, will next play when? Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Celtic, provided an update on injury recuperation.

Early in the 2023–24 season, the USMNT defender was taken off at halftime of a match against Aberdeen. The dominant 25-year-old center-half has not been seen since, and he is currently recovering from a hamstring injury.

Additionally absent from Celtic at the time are Nat Phillips, Maik Nawrocki, and Stephen Walsh, leaving Rodgers frighteningly lacking in defensive alternatives. The walking wounded are anticipated to rejoin the team shortly, although Carter-Vickers is still a ways off from making a comeback.

When asked for an update on the American international, who has made 85 appearances for Glasgow giants since joining them on an initial loan transfer from Tottenham in 2021: Rodgers responded to media as follows: “Cam is returning to the training group, but I don’t think he’ll be ready until after the international break.”

Before the next break in domestic play, Celtic has three matches to watch: matches against Motherwell and Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership and Lazio in the Champions League. Carter-Vickers won’t play for the USMNT until he returns to full fitness; however, he might be prepared for a match against Hearts on October 22.
