Rangers: One man will “definitely” be interviewed to replace Beale

He appears to be a serious contender to enter.

Many people are up for the job of managing Rangers, and one of them will “definitely” be interviewed for the position, according to ex-player Michael Bridges.

Which managers have links to Rangers?
After Michael Beale was fired on Sunday night, there has been a lot of activity at Ibrox as the Gers try to find a better replacement for the 43-year-old. Beale had his moments as Rangers manager, but ultimately, the first few weeks and months of this season became bad, and it became obvious that a change was required.

Who will be interviewed for the Rangers position?
Bridges, who saw Muscat as a prominent candidate to take over for Beale, asserted that Muscat would secure an interview for the open manager’s position at Rangers in a statement to The Glasgow Times:

He transferred from Melbourne Victory to Yokohama F. Marinos and is performing remarkable feats. He visited Japan. There, he has maintained the pattern. Ange Postecoglou won the triple with Celtic last season, and he later moved to the Premier League, so it is obviously what he did.

The list of candidates for the position of the future manager of the Gers is long, with Graham Potter, the former manager of Chelsea and Brighton, standing out as an ambitious but improbable candidate. Others rumoured to be in the running include Frank Lampard, Pascal Jansen, and Kevin Muscat.

“There are several Australian coaches who have received the go-ahead and are now on the radars of other teams, where boards are pondering, hold on, the Australian coaches have so much to offer.

“Therefore, it wouldn’t surprise me if Muscat played for Rangers. Without a doubt, he will either be contacted or will be interviewed for the position. It would be fascinating to watch him return to the football team he once played for. He also has the support of his supporters, who have seen him play and are aware of the animal he was on the pitch.

But given how calm and kind he is now as a coach, I believe they will be quite disappointed when they see him today. But he performed admirably for them.Watch this space, then. If we were to see him in the Scottish Premiership, I wouldn’t be shocked.

There are similarities between Muscat and Ange Postecoglou, who managed Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan before to Muscat and went on to succeed at both Celtic and Tottenham, despite the fact that Muscat hasn’t yet established himself in European football.
