injury update:Coventry City key man have been ruien out due an injury…….

NEWS: Mark Robins delivers an update on Matty Godden and Liam Kelly’s injuries.
Both the Sky Blues have been sidelined due to injuries…

Sky Blues manager Mark Robins has stated that both Liam Kelly and Matty Godden will be out for a while due to new injuries.

Godden has an ankle ailment, while Kelly has a knee condition unrelated to the issue that held him out for the first few months of the season.

Robins elaborated on the setbacks, saying, “Despite the great result at Stoke, there is bad news regarding Godden and Kelly.”

“Matty has sustained an injury and will be out for an extended period of time.” It is an ankle injury acquired on Wednesday night when the ball struck his foot hard.

“Because of the angle at which he planted his foot and the weight, he has damaged his ankle ligaments and will be out for a while.” We don’t know how long it will take, but it will be months.

“As for Liam, who was on his way back from an unrelated injury, he felt a problem with his knee earlier this week and had a scan yesterday, so he, too, will be out for a little while.”

“Hopefully, we can get both Liam and Matty recovered and back playing for us as quick as possible.”
