Brad Walker discusses his injury challenges after making a strong comeback.
After an impressive return to the side in recent weeks, ranmere Rovers midfielder Brad Walker has opened up about his injury issues since joining the Club.
Brad has started the previous two Sky Bet League Two games for Nigel Adkins, and he has performed admirably on both occasions.
The 27-year-old had surgery on an injury in recent months, but he worked hard during his recuperation to get back to the shape he’s in now.
“I had a bit of a rocky start with no real pre-season after my surgery.” I didn’t start the season the way I wanted to and then couldn’t find my way back into the team, but I’m glad I’m back now.
“It was difficult. No player wants to be injured, and especially during the time I was injured, when the ailment kept recurring, I had to have surgery to cure it.
“You’ve just got to be professional and come in every day and try and get yourself better and I’ve worked my socks off to get back to where I am.”
