According to Rangers Report, Lundqvist will make his first start since Feb. 2 against the Bruins on Saturday.

Lundqvist stated on Twitter on March 26 that he would be available against Ottawa:

Lundqvist will suit up for the Rangers against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night, according to Larry Brooks of the New York Post. “Don’t think Lundqvist would back-up two straight, so if he’s on the bench in Ottawa, guess is he’ll start Saturday in Boston,” Brooks said afterwards.

Lundqvist told Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News on March 24 that he hopes to play this weekend. The goaltender stated that he is physically fit to play but is mentally preparing for a return to the ice.

On March 16, Ken Campbell of The Hockey News wrote that Lundqvist was initially scheduled to return on March 24.

According to the Rangers, it will be up to Lundqvist to judge when he is ready to return:

According to Rick Carpiniello of The Journal News, he will practise wearing a collar to protect his neck. According to Andrew Gross of The Record, Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post, Lundqvist said, “I feel good….” It’s been a long six weeks, but I’m happy to finally rejoin the squad and get ready to play hockey.”

More statements from Lundqvist were offered by Mike G. Morreale of NHL.com:
