The London-born player is on loan with the Seasiders from Brest.
Karamoko Dembele, a former Celtic player, has finally broken through for Blackpool, scoring against Charlton Athletic over the weekend.
The teenager joined the Seasiders in the summer transfer window after beginning the season with French club Brest. The 20-year-old is on loan at the English League One club for the season and seeks to rekindle his career after making 16 substitute appearances for Brest since joining from the Hoops in 2022, with only one start.
Dembele, who was supposed to be one of the world’s finest at one point, had a difficult season, but he is currently enjoying more consistent football at Blackpool. He got his first league start against Derby in early October and followed it up by scoring his first goal a week later after coming on for the final 25 minutes against Charlton.
After constantly pressing an Addicks central defender, the winger advanced into the box and sent a rocket of a strike high into the roof of the net.
The goal appeared to be the one that would give Blackpool all three points on the road, but Charlton responded with a quick-fire double to split the points.
