SO SAD: injury due to left bleeding and bruised after horrific head collision….

At Marvel Stadium, there was “carnage” when two St. Kilda players were injured in a horrific head collision late in the victory over Carlton.

The 15-point victory was sealed when Hunter Clark and Dan Butler collided while attempting to lay a tackle late in the final stanza.

Clark was taken off the field on a stretcher while wearing a neck brace; it was obvious that he had at least broken his nose.

Commentator Hamish McLachlan remarked, “The neck brace is on and thoughts are with him.”

Daisy Pearce continued, “This man just hasn’t had any luck.

But the pair participated in the team song, which was encouraging for both athletes.

According to Fox Footy’s Jon Ralph, “as he was taken off as he took the brunt of that force right to his face, you thought, ‘it’s happened again’.”

He appeared in the tune. One side of his face appeared to have his nose smudged.

“It seems like things could have been so much worse.”

Just one year has passed since Clark unexpectedly shattered his jaw in a collision in which Crow David Mackay was spared punishment.

Clark lost eight weeks of football due to three jaw fractures, nerve damage, and dental damage.

Butler used towels to stop the bleeding from his forehead before strapping his face to finish the game.

Currently, (Ruckman Rowan) Marshall is in the rooms with the other doctor. Butler is currently sitting here alone, noted sideline commentator Matthew Richardson.

He is currently being examined by no doctor at all. There is just devastation.

Two doctors are there, and it is clear that they are both currently incapacitated.

Butler could be examined thanks to the speedy removal of Clark from the scene by the ambulance.

Hunter would go to the hospital after the game for more treatment, according to coach Brett Ratten.

Hunter has a broken nose that appears to be a complex fracture. In his news conference, he described it as being fairly nasty.

“He’s had a rough go. He has been cleaned up after sticking his head in a few awkward places.

It doesn’t frequently occur (in the game)… But he’s tough and brave.

“He was attempting to act honorably for the squad, which

He’ll need to obtain some X-rays and other tests before deciding what to do next.

“Whether it’s a remodel of the nose or something there, because it’s not in great shape.”

The Saints only had one healthy player on the bench for a short period of time when Marshall passed his concussion test. They were already without top defense Dougal Howard, who was replaced seconds into the third quarter.

“When you enter, Dougal Howard is there. Butler has a bandage over his head, and Hunter Clark and Marshall gave a brave effort, Fox Footy’s Nick Riewoldt said after the game.

Speaking after the game, Saint Clark’s bravery received a lot of appreciation from Jack Sinclair.

He said to Fox Footy, “He wasn’t looking too well, Huntsy.”

He repeatedly places his head over the ball and
